Let’s talk about body positivity!

Hey guys, girls and other people,

So once again I have been super inactive on this blog. I just really struggle to find time for YouTube, blogging and school work. However, I am finally here to talk about a topic that means a lot to me and I have very strong opinions on. FEMINISM! Recently, I have fallen out with some people over this topic so I am here to talk about it and share my opinions.

Feminism is a very broad subject to talk about so today I am talking about a small part of it. That is body positivity. Body positivity means a lot to me because it has truly made me a happier person. Less than a year ago I was so insecure with my body and I didn’t know how to make myself feel happy about it again. That was until I found an amazing community that could help me out. Today, I would like to talk about some people who helped me become more body positive and some of my personal tips. I hope this helps someone love themselves more.


Megan Jayne Crabbe is an anorexia survivor herself and has an amazing body positive Instagram page. She was one of the main people to help me love myself more. Her page is full of inspiring quotes, photos and pieces of writing to help you on your way to body positivity.  I love her! Recently, she released a book called “Body Positive Power”, which I am yet to pick up. What she does is so wonderful and she has helped many people including myself. I would love to meet her and tell her how much she has helped me and my body.

Everyone has something they don’t like abut their body or is viewed as “flawed” in society’s eyes. But are they flaws? Nope! Most women (and a lot of men) have stretch marks. I have them! It is only our skin growing as we grow. it is completely normal yet so many people are ashamed of them. Belly rolls are normal too. When you are sitting or bending over you get belly rolls. This is just where you are squished up and there is nothing wrong with it at all. The skinniest models even get belly rolls (as seen in the picture below). Fat is not an offensive word and we should not use it in an offensive way. Everyone has fat on their body because it is what keeps us alive and keeps us energised when we haven’t eaten in a while. it is for survival not for looks. So remember: we all have things we don’t like, but they are beautiful and there is nothing wrong with them.

I hope you people enjoyed this rant of a blog post. I hope now you can understand how much body positivity means to me and how important it is to be body positive. International Women’s Day!

If you guys did not know, today is International Women’s Day! So I thought I would make a little post to showcase and appreciate women. Also, ignore any grammar mistakes as this was a very rushed post. Thank you!

Throughout history women have gone through a lot of difficult times however we always found a way to get through it. Suffrages and suffragettes fought for our right to vote. Working ladies such as Marie Curie proved that women can make amazing discoveries as well. Rosa Parks helped the black community fight back against their government.


Changes are slowly being made and I am proud to say I am a woman. however, we still have issues against women today. The pay gap is the main issue against women in modern times. We are often seen as weaker and less intelligent than men. HOW ARE WE WEAKER WHEN WE GIVE BIRTH TO THE CHILDREN  THE WORLD? THAT MUST FUCKING HURT!

Women, we must show people that we are strong and capable of the same work that men are. We must show them our true colours and true power in this world.
