Hey guys, girls and non-gender specific people!
How are you people?
I haven’t blogged in a while *cough since march cough*. Honestly, I struggle to get motivation to blog and I tend to focus on YouTube more.
Today’s post is all about books. Me and my wonderful internet friend VieAvecCharlotte decided to do another collab. We were discussing our summer reading lists and thought it would be cool to share with you. Please share your book suggestions in the comments ( it is greatly appreciated ).
The One Memory of Flora Banks – Emily Barr
I started reading this book about two weeks ago and I have some mixed opinions. It is all about a girl, called Flora Banks, who has amnesia. This means that she forgets information within a few hours. She ends up kissing her friend’s boyfriend, which causes her to lose people close to her. She takes a lot of risks to find the lost boy and restore her friendships.
So far it is a good book but I struggle a bit with her illness as I am generally quite good at remembering things. It is cool to see life from a different perspective. I will post a full review when I am done reading it.
Everything Everything – Nicola Yoon
I have been putting off reading this book for ages. Amber, my best friend, read the book and said amazing things about it. After receiving it as a school prize, I now have no excuse not to read it. I’m so excited to read it!
From what I know, it is about a girl who is allergic to the world. Her and her neighbour fall in love and he has to find a way to get to her.
One Of Us is Lying – Karen McManus
I believe I saw this book on the ‘Penguin Platform’ YouTube channel. It is about four people who are about to have their deepest secrets shared with the whole school. The writer is murdered. These four teens are suspects in the murder investigation. You have to decide who you believe before finding out the truth. I have never read any mystery books, so I am very excited to give this book a try.
Holding Up The Universe
This is also a very hyped book that I haven’t read yet. I don’t know the full storyline but I know someone in it has prosopagnosia (face blindness). Let me know if you guys like this book in the comments.
That is all the books I want to read this summer. I have a LONGGGGGG list of other books, but this is all I intend on reading in the summer months.
Thank you for reading. Remember to go and check out Charlotte’s blog and tell her I send you there.
See you soon lovelies xx
